I am normally used to people calling me by my first name. So as expected, it came as a surprise today in english class when I was called "Clower".
We were having a discussion about...something I couldn't remember, and all of a sudden he was all "What do you think? Clower?" I just sat there dumbly with my mouth hanging open. I'm pretty sure I was thinking about something completely off topic, like frogs or something else kinda stupid. I just sat there and once again he said, "Clower?" I glanced around, laughing in my head how whoever he was talking to didn't seem to hear him and was out in space instead. The only strange thing was, he was staring at me while talking to whoever it was. By this time he was starting to get annoyed, "Uh, hello? I'm talking to you." It then dawned on me that my last name was clower and he was talking to me and not someone else. My cheeks had blushed bright red with embarrassment. I mean, how was I supposed to know he was talking to me? I'm never called by my last name. So uh, yeah. Just uhh...yeah.
I mean, how was I supposed to know?

hahaha! I had a moment like that in college.. but let me tell you what, it was slightly a different happenstance. It was grammar class (horrible horrible class..) And we were doing these stupid diagrams on the board and I didn't understand and he was having people get up in front of the class and diagram them, which I hated and embarrassed me completely and he wasn't being helpful that day. I didnt understand at all!. (EWWW!) Well... He turns to me,
Teacher: Isabel, will you diagram this for me.
(excuse me!?) I looked up shocked at him considering the fact that he was calling me by a name that was NOT mine and the prospect of having to make a fool of myself in front of the class... I turned into a beast. My friends describe it akin to the Incredible Hulk.
Me: My name is Amanda. IS-BELL is my LAST name.
and i proceeded to get up and do it on the board, while this guy i had a crush on gaped at me for my shocking response.. and my friends laughed when it was all said and done. He didn't call me that ever again...
in conclusion, the end.
haha, come on it wasn't that bad. You did seem a little daydreamy but I mean, I don't think he noticed it. Still, the funny thing is he keeps calling you Clower. (Atl east he gets your last name right :)
